What does solar cost?

It depends on your home.

Your roof, your usage and how you pay all change the price. Your free assessment gives you exact numbers for every way to pay, side by side.

Is there still a tax credit?

The 30% homeowner tax credit ended for systems finished after 2025.

Some leases and state programs may still lower your cost. We’ll show you what applies to your home.

What happens in a power outage?

With a battery, your home stays powered in an outage.

Without a battery, a standard system pauses until the grid is back, so line workers stay safe.

Do I need a new roof first?

Not always, but your roof has to be in good shape.

Panels stay up for 20 years or more, so your roof should be ready for that. We check it at your free assessment and let you know if it needs work first.

What if I sell my house?

It depends on how you own the system.

If you bought it, it sells with the home. With a lease or power purchase agreement, the buyer can take it over, or you can buy out the system.

How long do panels last?

Most systems last 20 to 30 years.

They lose about 0.5% of their output each year. The inverter (the box that turns panel power into home power) may need replacing sooner.

How long does installation take?

The crew is usually on your roof for 1 to 2 days.

Permits, inspection and utility approval add time, so the whole project often takes a few months.

Is my home a good fit?

It comes down to your roof, your shade and your bill.

A sunny roof in good shape and a steady electric bill are a strong start. If solar is not right for your home, we’ll tell you.
